Regularly a focus of media attention, the Market and surrounding area have appeared in cult Disney classic 'Bed Knobs and Brooksticks' and more recently 'Notting Hill'. In 1967, Cat Stevens wrote a song about Portobello Road, it reached the UK Top 30.
