Opening its doors to the public in 1881, the Natural History Museum is home to over 70 million specimens from past to present. Bringing in over 3 million visitors a year, the museum features a 28 metre life-size model of a Blue Whale and 26 metre Diplodocus, the latter has been at the museum for 100 years in 2005.
